No entertainer can move and excite an audience like Tony Orlando, who recently marked the 30th anniversary of his, Tie A Yellow Ribbon ’Round The Ole Oak Tree. His list of hits includes Sweet Gypsy Rose, He Don't Love You, Who's In The Strawberry Patch With Sally, Cupid, Steppin' Out (Gonna Boogie Tonight) and Mornin' Beautiful. From million-selling records including five number one hits, a popular television variety series, movies and Broadway (Barnum and Smokey Joe's Cafe) Tony has conquered every facet of show business. His recording of Knock Three Times was the top song of 1971, selling over six million copies worldwide. Later, with Telma Hopkins and Joyce Vincent Wilson, the trio Tony Orlando and Dawn became an international sensation. On his weekly CBS TV series (1974–76) — the first multi-ethnic TV variety show, featuring Orlando, of Hispanic and Greek origins, and Hopkins and Wilson, African Americans — he welcomed the biggest names in entertainment, including boyhood idols Jackie Gleason and Jerry Lewis. Tony has been a guest on Jerry’s Labor Day Telethon for 25 years, nine as the New York host. A popular headliner in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Reno, Biloxi and Laughlin, he has earned three American Music Awards, a People’s Choice Award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has performed for five Presidents, and was one of the first entertainers featured on VH1's Behind the Music. In 1998 he created Jukebox Dreams, a doo-wop serenade that premiered in Atlantic City and toured top venues in the U.S.
