Brad Zimmerman

Who would believe that Johnny Sack’s lawyer on The Sopranos is really a funny guy? Brad Zimmerman is so amusing that he even has other comics laughing out loud. To quote Joan Rivers:

“I’ve had three great opening acts in my lifetime
Gary Shandling, Billy Crystal and Brad Zimmerman.”

Well known for his acting, comedic and writing talents, Brad Zimmerman performs his “stand-up” act all over the United States and Canada in clubs, festivals, and in performing arts centers. He has opened for well known comedians such as George Carlin, Brad Garrett, Gabe Kaplan, and Susie Essman. As a member of the famous New York Friar’s Club, Brad was a hit at the Friars Club Roast of the Smothers Brothers and he has worked with fellow Friar comedians such as Freddie Roman, Dick Capri, Stewie Stone and Pat Cooper to name a few.

In addition to Brad’s stand-up act, he has recently performed a successful repeat run of his one-man play, Atta Boy Zimmy, at The Flea Theater in New York City. In Atta Boy Zimmy, Brad weaves an intricate and bittersweet tapestry of stories that spark the senses and emotions to create a full bodied show. His gifted story-telling is so real, that it will trigger your imagination and you will be laughing and crying as it stays with you long after the show is over.
As an actor, Brad Zimmerman has been in a number of short films, most notably The Brief Moment, starring Christopher Meloni of Law and Order fame. He also plays Johnny Sack’s lawyer, on The Sopranos.
