Christopher Titus
Christopher Titus jokes about things most comics would find impossible to make funny. Custody battles, insanity, family suicides, heart attacks, and fist fighting his father are all topics to be confronted, not hidden from. “I think our collective psychosis is hilarious. With the world moving as fast as it is, if we weren’t dysfunctional, we couldn’t function,” says Titus.
Christopher’s stand-up television appearances include NBC’s "Comedy Showcase" and "Friday Night!", A & E’s "An Evening At The Improv" and "Caroline’s Comedy Hour," and Comedy Central’s "Premium Blend."
Christopher was a stand-out at the 1996, 1997 and 1999 Montreal Just for Laughs Festivals. He was the star, executive producer and co-creator of the FOX hit sitcom "Titus," a dark comedy based on "Norman Rockwell Is Bleeding." Time Magazine called Titus “brutal, hilarious and audacious,” while Newsday called him “T.V.’s most original comic voice since ‘Seinfeld’.”
