Richie Byrne
One of the most requested comedians working today, Richie exemplifies a counter-current in today's comedy scene- his high energy combined with a talent for story telling creates a unique comedy act. Richie concocts a brew of family experience, contemporary music and zinging observation to create explosions of laughter.
His versatility (Richie is also an accomplished actor and singer) allows him to perform for audiences of all ages. From comedy clubs to cruise ships, from colleges to resorts, Richie has performed over 500 shows a year for all types of groups.
He recently sat on a dais honoring New York Giants head coach, Jim Fassel. At the benefit for The Valerie Fund, which also included such sports celebrities as Boomer Esiason, Mets manager Bobby Valentine as well as Donald Trump, his performance was so successful that Fassel invited him to perform this summer for the entire Giants team and their families. He also performed at the Valerie Fund's summer camp for children with cancer. Both shows were a huge success!
